Software Made Simple

There has been some discussion lately on the REALbasic NUG Mailing List about consulting rates (see the thread ‘REALbasic Paid Work’). I also just recently read a couple code blog postings on this topic which I though I would share:

• Software — Cheap (Bob on Software)
• A Freelance Programmer’s Manifesto (Standard Deviation)

These all seem to have a similar point:

It is important, as software professionals, that we do not undervalue the work we do.

I just wanted to say that I agree.
