There has been a rumor going around that Apple will finally be opening a store at the Maine Mall. This is great news for me because the closest Apple store is currently in Salem, NH (about 1.5 hours away).
Of course, Apple doesn’t like to preannounce store openings, but I was at the mall last weekend and apparently the Maine Mall itself isn’t being too shy about it:
The store will be near Macy’s. Local newspapers are suggesting it will open on Black Friday, but that seems like a really bad day to open a store to me. I’m hoping it opens sooner.
